I love to create work around something that I've found because it forces me to problem-solve. I enjoy working with objects that have a history and can be reused, like old clothing, packaging, broken items, odd parts, and personal keepsakes. When I begin to feel creatively stagnant, I switch to a new medium or process, which rewards me with fresh discoveries about how different materials interact.

I often reference dreams, wishes, and memories, beginning with the familiar and reimagining it in new, vibrant colors and textures. Lately, I have been sewing onto window screens and trying to use fabric in a way that feels like painting.
